How does this event settle?
Rules, as written by Polymarket
This market will resolve according to the listed athlete who wins the 2026 Women’s Chicago Marathon. If this athlete is eliminated from contention for winning this event based on the official rules of the Chicago Marathon, this market will resolve to “No.” In case of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the athlete whose last name comes first in alphabetical order. If an unlisted athlete wins the 2026 Women’s Chicago Marathon, this market will resolve to “Other.” If no winner is announced by October 18, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other.” The resolution source will be the first official results published by the Chicago Marathon (https://www.chicagomarathon.com/results/).
This event has 14 questions and exactly one of them can win: when one settles Yes, every other settles No.
Each question is its own Yes/No market: a share of the side that wins pays 100¢, the other side pays 0¢.
It can settle from Oct 11, 2026 23:00 UTC; trading can go on after that until the result is final.
